The spark was lit in 2022 with the war in Ukraine. A group of friends in Germany
refused to remain passive and wanted to take action – to raise donations and
support the people of Ukraine.
Their idea was bold: to stage a charity rock/pop concert in front of the Brandenburg
Gate in Berlin. Two weeks later, over 45 music acts and more than 60 speakers stood
together on one stage and raised €12.5 milion in donations.
That day, SOUND OF PEACE was born.

SOUND OF PEACE is a global movement that builds cultural bridges between people –
worldwide and for generations to come.
We are a community of active, open-minded, and committed people, initiatives, and

Since then, the movement has only grown stronger. People from all walks of life have rallied behind
SOUND OF PEACE.
In 2025, the German brothers Fritz and Max Krings founded the SOUND OF PEACE gGmbH.
We are currently building a team, gathering allies, and bringing together more and more people
and companies who share our vision.
The goal is both clear and ambitious: to create a historic concert that raises more donations than
any event before and to send a powerful message of peace to the world.
